First Look at Assassin's Creed Shadows

Ubisoft, the game's publisher, has leaked a supposed image of the two main characters.
The image shows a female ninja and a male samurai standing back-to-back, both wielding hidden blades. The female character is wearing a red and black outfit, while the male character is wearing a blue and white outfit. Both characters have their faces obscured by masks.
The image has led to speculation that the game will be set in Japan, which would be a first for the Assassin's Creed franchise. The game is also rumored to feature a new gameplay mechanic that will allow players to switch between the two main characters at will.
Ubisoft has not yet officially confirmed the image or any of the rumors surrounding the game. However, the image is a strong indication that Assassin's Creed Shadows is in development and that it will be released sometime in the future.
